Visiting the Rich Cultural Region of Southern England
The southern area of England has a number of famous regions and counties. The location boasts some of the largest cities in the UK including London.

While here, take the youngsters to Legoland.
The Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex depicts medieval culture. The massive structure is surrounded by a moat and 550 acres of gardens and forests. The Hever Castle in Kent was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Along with impressive works of art and a rose garden, the location is popular with youngsters who have the chance to watch jousting tournaments, learn archery or explore the yew and water mazes.
Surrey has a number of friendly-family attractions. The Chessington World of Adventures encompasses a themed amusement park, a sea life center and a zoo. The location is divided into six different areas that include the Forbidden Kingdom, Pirates Cove and Transylvania. The expansive Hobbledown park in Epsom features a wide selection of peafowl, pigs, ponies and other domesticated animals.
The medieval-like aerial walkway beckons youngsters to explore the area while getting a bird's eye view. There is also a ropes challenge course and a sandpit.
Birdworld in Farnham encompasses 26 acres and cares for hundreds of birds. The animal farm provides children with the chance to have interactive experiences with many different animals. The facility also offers various feeding demonstrations and shows.
In London, the family has the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Harry Potter world at Warner Bros. Studios. Take an exhilarating ride on the London Eye. Explore 900 years of history in the London Tower. Get up close and personal with your favorite celebrities at Madame Tussaud's.
