Location:
The cottage is located in a tiny cabin village, surrounded by a beautiful Alpine scenery. Göriach is known for its wonderful and particularly sunny mountain valley which has preserved its rural and village-like character. Ideal for hiking and mountaineering in the nature. The cottage is located submontane the Hochgolling, which is the highest mountain of the "Niedere Tauern" with a height of 2.862m.

Distances:
There is a farmed cottage at the village. The next bigger towns with shops, swimming pool, tennis court and so on, are Mariapfarr in 12km and Tamsweg in 15km. Wonderful hiking trails along the wild creek to waterfalls, small lakes and the Alpine Club refuge!

Equippment:
The cabin is equipped very simple and rustical. Parlor with seats and wood stove for cooking and heating, one bedroom with 3 beds. Upper floor: dormitory. No electricity, solar light, solar charging station. Kitty-corner from the cottage is the small, private bathing hut with shower (solar-powered hot-water tank, 120 litre) and earth closet.
