Chalet in Obervellach in Carinthia

House:
This detached, rustic chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in Obervellach on the sunny side of the Mölltal in Carinthia, at 1,350 meters above sea level in the great outdoors. The panoramic location high above the valley offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains of the Reißeck group. The chalet can be reached via a wide asphalt road, the last 3 km are on a very good forest road. The chalet offers a large living/dining room with a wood stove and seating area, 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed and bunk bed, a modern bathroom, barbecue hut and a terrace with garden furniture. Cooking is done on the wood stove, and the hot water is also heated with wood (the wood is provided free of charge). A gas cooker is also available. Electricity is charged directly on site (coin meter). So you can expect a relaxing holiday with a real alpine feeling and still plenty of comfort. The area is home to beautiful hiking trails, a variety of sporting activities and impressive flora and fauna. In summer, the adventure pool in Obervellach and the Greifenburg bathing lake offer lots of bathing fun, and the famous Millstätter See can also be reached in around 30 minutes by car. You can ski on the Mölltal Glacier with 36 kilometers of slopes (also with a fun park) from October to mid-May. The equally well-known Ankogel/Mallnitz ski area offers almost 13 kilometers of slopes. Obervellach is located in the border triangle of Austria-Slovenia-Italy and thus makes it easy to visit cities such as Trieste, Udine, Venice, Villach and Klagenfurt. For your daily shopping, there are numerous shops in Obervellach. Products from the landlord's own farm are available.
