The chalet is on Klippitztörl at an altitude of 1600 metres.Chalet of a high standard, with a sauna and whirlpool, and a fabulous view of the alpine surroundings, located in the midst of the ski resort
If you would like to enjoy leisure and sports activities amidst wildly romantic nature, as well as comfortable accommodation, then this is the right place for you. The chalet built according to ecological standards was completed in summer 2013. The chalet provides 150m² of space for ten people and a classy interior. It has a generous living and dining room with a gas fire, a cosy conservatory, four bedrooms and two exclusive wellness areas. The wellness area on the upper floor has a whirlpool bath for three to four people, a steam shower, and a fabulous view of Hohenwart. The wellness area on the ground floor has a quality “shasa-mi” sauna (Finnish, organic or Roman) and a shower. After a sauna you have direct to the south-facing terrace. The decorative gas fire in the living room provides pleasant warmth and a romantic atmosphere. The big and comfortable sitting area and the modern dining space provide ample space for families or friends. The living room provides everything you need for evening entertainment: flatscreen TV, DVD player, CD player, radio, wireless Internet access etc. The well-equipped kitchen has an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, big fridge-freezer, coffee machine, toaster and everyday tableware. The first bedroom has a double bed, a sofa bed and a TV. It is also possible to set up a cot here (provided). The second and third bedrooms each have a double bed. The third bedroom also has a TV. The fourth bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a bunk bed (each 80 x 200cm). All the other double beds measure 180 x 200cm. You can also used built-in cupboards in all the bedrooms.
The big panoramic terrace affords a fabulous view of the Lavanttal Alps.
Access to the chalet is along an asphalted private road, which snow is cleared from regularly in winter. There are two parking spaces right by the chalet: one in the car port and one in front of it.
The Klippitztörl ski resort with its highest mountain called Hohenwart (1818m) is one of the top Carinthian skiing areas. It has around 30 kilometres of pistes, modern ski lifts and 90% snow canon coverage, as well as rustic restaurant chalets, as a family ski resort. You can find ski rental services and a ski school right by the valley station. There is no cross-country skiing trail at Klippitztörl. In summer Klippitztörl is a starting point for extensive hikes or you can take part in guided hikes. You will be rewarded with a wonderful view of the mountain panorama and with a hearty snack in one of the rustic chalets. Special attractions at Klippitztörl are the summer toboggan run and the climbing park. The area provides fun and action for the whole family. Klippitztörl has everything you need for a relaxing and interesting holiday.
