Beautiful group house with large garden

House:
This beautiful holiday home is situated in Gouvy, in the Belgian Ardennes region. It was once the grocery store that sold its products to the local population. The location is wonderful, next to the Steinbach church and opposite a renovated castle. By adding many small accents, the owners managed to accentuate the homely look even more. Ideal for a family, there are 9 bedrooms and can accommodate 20 guests. This home has a private swimming pool to take a refreshing dip on a hot summer day. Both at the front and at the back of the house you will find a terrace for sunny summer days. The large rear garden offers something for everyone with a BBQ area, above ground pool, play tower, trampoline and lovely sun lounger. From the holiday home you have direct access to beautiful nature. There are also hiking trails and mountain bike routes close by. When it snows, there is the possibility of cross-country skiing in the vicinity of Gouvy and throughout the year there are beautiful places to visit, such as Houffalize, La Roche, Durbuy, Bastogne and Clervaux in Luxembourg. Clervaux is located precisely in the valley of the Clerf river, where the surrounding villages are located at the top of the high plains. There are a number of sites to visit in the center. A little higher, you will find the stairs that lead to the castle of Clervaux. A striking white castle which forms the focal point of the village. For nature lovers, the forest lies 2 km away whereas lake is only 3 km from the home. The nearest restaurant is 3 km away. The town centre and grocery store are 7 km from the property. The former commercial part now houses a very spacious kitchen, equipped with all modern equipment, and an adjacent dining room. The living room consists of two parts: one to sit down with a good glass of amin and another with a lounge area equipped with a television with DVD player. The 4 bathrooms have been completely renovated and, like the 9 bedrooms, they are spread over the first and second floors. However, the sink in the bedrooms is for decorative purpose only. Central heating is installed for a comfortable stay. Parking is available for your convenience. Play equipment and trampoline are provided for the kids. Check in begins from 4-6 PM and check out is from 9-10 AM. Due to COVID-19 it is not possible to rent this property to large groups of different households. Max. 5 people from different households. Bring your charcoal for the barbecue.
