This modern contemporary holiday cottage enjoys a quiet location in the small picturesque village of Bicici in the Istarska region in the southern part of eastern Istria, an ideal location for a relaxing holiday amid nature, far away from the tourist crowds. The living area gives access to your spacious terrace and the 26m² swimming pool surrounded by loungers and a sun shade which you have exclusive use of during your stay. The generous outdoor grill area on your private terrace invites you to spend long barbecue evenings under the starlit sky. A car is recommended to explore the sights and attractions the region has to offer, two secure parking spaces are available right in front of the villa. The stone villa and adjacent holiday cottage have only recently been newly built in 2012 following typical Istrian style, the 77 m² cottage is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the modern comforts you might need for a memorable holiday. Exposed wooden beams along the ceiling in all rooms create a warm inviting atmosphere and add to the rustic country living atmosphere. The cottage features a spacious living-/dining area, a fully equipped modern kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The air conditioned living area is furnished with a six seater corner sofa, a wall mounted flat screen satellite television, a safe where you can keep your valuables and a large wooden dining table with six matching chairs. A large archway leads into the top modern kitchen complete with a dishwasher four hob gas cooker and stylish extractor hood, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle and a coffee machine. The master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and is furnished with a 180 cm x 200 cm double bed and a large wardrobe providing plenty of space for your clothes and luggage. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower cabin, large wash basin with undersink cabinet and wall mirror, a toilet and a washing machine. Next to the master bedroom is the second bedroom with two 90 cm x 200cm single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed and a large built-in wardrobe. The second separate bathroom is also equipped with a large shower cabin, wash basin and a toilet. A bed for a child can also be provided. Reliable WLAN internet access is offered free of charge. The small village of Bicici is located in the municipality of Barban situated above the Rasa river valley, which is known as one of Croatia’s best developed municipalities and area of rural tourism. You can explore the rich landscape on the many cycling and walking paths which you will find in the immediate vicinity of your cottage. Pula, the capital city of Istria is approximately 27 km away and the main road leading through the region of Istria is approx. 18km away from your holiday cottage. The nearest shops and restaurants are approximately 1km away. Only about half an hour drive away you will find one of Croatia’s biggest adventure park and a ranch where you can enjoy horseback riding activities. The owner lives in the main villa and is always happy to help with any questions you might have.
