Description

This holiday apartment is on the ground floor of one of the oldest houses in Dubrovnik, just 200 metres from the town wall. It was one of the first buildings to be built outside of the historic centre. Its origins can be traced back to the year 1700. Although the accommodation is very close to the vibrant centre, guests can nevertheless find a peaceful and quiet place here, far away from the hustle and bustle of summer, with a view of the majestic, centuries-old walls of the old town. Large holiday apartment with a terrace, right in front of the Dubrovnik town wall, with a view of the historic centre You can enjoy a wonderful view of the old town from the large, private terrace, with a table, chairs and sun loungers and a traditional, brick-built grill. It is partially roofed, providing both shade and sun. There is a car parking space right in front of the house. The 120m² apartment can accommodate six to nine people. During the renovation in 2010, the traditional style was preserved and complemented with modern comfort and convenience. The spacious living room reflects the long history of the house. It consists of a sitting area in front of the flatscreen TV and a dining area. Two people can sleep on the sofa bed. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all modern appliances. There are also two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a whirlpool bath. The first of the total of four bedrooms has a double bed, the second has two single beds. There are two further bedrooms with a double and a single bed and a third bathroom with a shower in a smaller apartment on the same floor, next to the main apartment. It has a separate entrance, but a door connects it to the main apartment. It is just 500 metres to the nearest beach. There is a grocery shop 200 metres away. There is a bus stop right opposite the house on the other side of the road. In the nearby historic centre you can not only admire historic sights, but there is also a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment. The “Buza gate”, just 150 metres from the apartment, leads into the old town. A long staircase then leads directly to the “Stradun” main street. If you would like to avoid the steps, you can go into town via the “Ploce Gate”. The most beautiful view of Dubrovnik is from the SRD hill, with a cable car leading up to it. The living room has air conditioning. However, owing to the thick stone walls and the shaded location, the apartment stays pleasantly cool. Wireless Internet access is available. A cot, a highchair and a children’s car seat can be provided on request.
