Description
Ližnjan is a locality in the south of Istria, 12km to the south-east of Pula and 1.5km to the north-east of Medulin. It is a picturesque fishing village that attracts many tourists who would like to get away from tourist masses in summer. Rocky and pebbled beaches with crystal clear water are about 1.5km away. In Medulin there is also a big sandy beach. Ližnjan is a quiet lace with a beautiful landscape and healthy air, where you can feel safe.
This holiday accommodation provides 75m² of living space comprising two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace. The living room has seating and a dining table. The kitchen is fully-equipped for four people and includes a stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The bathroom has a bath, a washbasin with a mirror, a WC, a window and a washing machine. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed 200cm wide and a cupboard, the second with two single beds 90cm wide. Bed linen in included in the rental price and is changed weekly.
The apartment features a private terrace on the west side. The large, well-tended garden with Mediterranean trees provides space for children to play, as well as to grill. It is shared with guest at the two holiday apartments in the house. Private car parking spaces are available.
Wireless Internet access is available free of charge. The living room is fitted with an air conditioning unit that can also be used for heating. The owner, who also speaks German, is available to assist with any queries.
Ližnjan has 1500 inhabitants and is on the south-east tip of Istria. The landscape is beautiful and the people are very friendly. It is a quiet and safe place. It is only five minutes by car to Medulin. Ližnjan has several restaurants, cafés, doctors, a dentist, a pharmacy, a post office, a bank, an ATM and several grocery shops. It is 15 minutes to Pula, as well as to the airport, hospital or motorway. It is about 600 metres to Munich. Istria has a wealth of natural beauty, a clear sea and pristine beaches. The Roman amphitheatre, the Sergier Arch, the Augustus Temple, the little Roman theatre and many other monuments are witnesses to the 3000-year-old history of Pula. The Roman amphitheatre arena is the sixth largest ancient amphitheatre in the world. During the summer, many open-air events are held in the Pula arena.
