Our home is located in a small street and surrounded by fields. Privlaka is a small fisherman’s town in Dalmatia, near Zadar, surrounded on three sides by sea. This is the perfect place to relax in silence and peace from a stressful job, crowds and traffic noise. Privlaka has a lot of sandy beaches (the majority are shallow sand banks). The sea is warm, calm and crystal clear. And if you get bored of swimming and lying on the beach, Zadar (one of the most beautiful historical cities) is 20 km away, Nin (medieval town with Queen´s Beach-the most famous windsurfing area) is 3 km away, Zaton 5 km (horse riding, scuba diving, tennis, mini golf, sailing) and Vir (night life and crowded streets) is only 5 km away. Privlaka and Nin have inlets with therapeutic black mud, which is traditionally used as a natural remedy, especially for rheumatic pains. Small supermarkets, bakeries, a butcher, a pharmacy and a medical office are available in the town as well as several restaurants and pizzerias.
