Description
The apartment is on the main promenade of the historic city Senj, home of the Uskok’s. It is located in the 300 year old historic house owned by Frankopan family with the existing original family crest in the front of the house. It is positioned in the heart of all event. All restaurants and other services are at your fingertips. Beaches, shopping stores, markets and restaurants are all located within few min walk from the apt. With this advantage of proximity, you do not miss a single summer attraction, party, walk, etc.
The surroundings of the city are phenomenal for nature and hiking lovers as well as for cycling and motorcycle tours on various rural roads through pure nature. The city is very safe. The beaches are large and of different structures. The sea is of extraordinary clarity and purity. It will probably come as no surprise to anyone who has swum in our region that the waters are some of the cleanest in the world.
Summer events-
June - Uskok days, in honor of the Uskoks, soldiers who defended Senj in year 1500 against Ottomans empire at which time “Nehaj fortress” was built that played a huge roll in to defending the city.
July -Samba festivities, samba rhythm envolves the city with various performers
