Summer events- June - Uskok days, in honor of the Uskoks, soldiers who defended Senj in year 1500 against Ottomans empire at which time “Nehaj fortress” was built that played a huge roll in to defending the city. July -Samba festivities, samba rhythm envolves the city with various performers
