Coral Bay is a popular tourist resort in the Peyia municipality 6 km North of the city of Paphos.
Coral Bay beach carries an EU Blue Flag certification which means that it adheres to all standards, rules and regulations required by the relevant committee of the European Union.
A coast that ranks amongst the loveliest of the region.
Located in the Paphos region in Peyia - a thriving tourist resort - the 500-metre long, Coral Bay Beach is considered to be one of the loveliest coasts of the area.
The sands are deep golden, and the clean seawaters here are calm and shallow, making it a popular choice for all, including families with children. The beach is enclosed by a pair of limestone headlands and has abundant greenery, further enhancing its beauty.
Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun beds, umbrellas, dustbins, recycling bins and water sports. There are a variety of restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks and accommodation in the area. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire as well as a facility for water sports
Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach..
Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car, with car-parking available and bus stop nearby.

Mini golf, watersports and go-karting are all activities available in the immediate Coral Bay area.
The Paphos Zoo and Horse Riding Stables which cater for all ages are both within a 10-minute drive of the area.
A little further along the coast, you reach the natural rock caves of the area known locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
For a taste of the more traditional, head to the tiny fishing hamlet of St Georges from where you can enjoy some of the islands most memorable sunset views and dine at one of the small collection of family run tavernas.
For nature lovers, the start of the protected Akamas Peninsula is just to the north of the area. You can head to the hillside village of Peyia, located just a few kilometres inland from Coral Bay to sample a traditional Cypriot meze meal at one of its selection of long-established restaurants.
Paphos Town approximately 15 kilometres away, was once the capital of the island and is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well-preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made.
Extend your exploring to encompass the town of Paphos and the list of available activities expands to include a bowling alley, waterpark, several historical sites, an attractive harbour area and modern shopping facilities.
