Description
In the beautiful hilly landscape of Helgenæs, you will find this cozy and unique holiday home. The house features a charming living room with access to a large covered terrace equipped with garden furniture and a grill. In the living room, there is a wood-burning stove and a heat pump. The living room connects to a small but functional kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a nice bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. The sleeping accommodations include one bedroom with two single beds. On the house's large, furnished loft, there are two "rooms"—one with two single beds and one with a single bed. There is also an additional sleeping space in an alcove in the living room. The house is located on a large, sloping plot with cozy corners, where children can play. For the little ones, there is a high chair available. The house offers internet, and TV is accessible via Chromecast. Open fire is not permitted on the property.
The house is located about a 10-minute drive from the water. The beach is a combination of stones and sand. It is not far from the house to Sletterhage Lighthouse, a popular destination where, during the summer, you can watch large ships heading to and from Aarhus Harbor, as well as luxury liners passing close to the coast. The Helgenæs area is known for its unique natural beauty, hilly terrain, wildlife, and stunning viewpoints. In the area, you’ll also find the German Tower, a remnant from World War II, offering views of Samsø, Tunø, Aarhus, and the Odder coast. Nearby is Ellemandsbjerg, which stands 99 meters high and is a popular excursion destination. The house is located about 24 km from Ebeltoft, with its many exciting tourist attractions, including the Old Town Hall and the Frigate Jylland. At the harbor, you'll find the Glass Museum, renowned for its modern art. A little less than an hour's drive from the house is Scandinavia's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, which is well worth a visit.
