The former coastguard’s residence in Hirtshals has undergone an extensive renovation and now stands as an attractive, inviting, and modern townhouse in the center of Hirtshals – ready to welcome eager holiday guests.

The townhouse, which served as a coastguard’s residence in the 1970s, has been transformed into a stylish and modern home. In 2024, it was comprehensively renovated with great respect for its historical significance.

The interior is tastefully decorated with a blend of classic and modern furniture that complements each other beautifully.

Upon entering the house, you are greeted by a welcoming hallway with space to hang your coat before proceeding into the cozy living room. Here, comfortable seating and a wood-burning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere on cooler evenings. From the living room, there is access to a spacious bathroom and a comfortable bedroom with a double bed.

Take a step down into the bright kitchen and dining area, featuring a high vaulted ceiling that allows plenty of natural light to stream through the skylights. The modern, fully equipped kitchen and the large dining area invite you to enjoy delightful meals and long conversations.

From the dining area, there is access to a spacious bedroom on the first floor. The gable window offers a picturesque view of Hirtshals Lighthouse and the sea – a stunning sight to wake up to every morning. Please note that a staircase railing will be installed (not shown in the photos).

Adjacent to the dining area, you will find another bedroom with a pull-out bed. Additionally, there is a practical utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, and an extra refrigerator.

Bedroom 1: 2 sleeping spaces (double bed with adjustable base, 180x200 cm)

Bedroom 2: 2 sleeping spaces (3/4-bed, 140x200 cm)

Bedroom 3: 2 sleeping spaces (pull-out bed, 2 x 80x200 cm)

Outdoor Area

From the house, you have direct access to two lovely terraces located on opposite sides of the property. Given the house's central location in Hirtshals, careful consideration has been given to providing privacy screens around the terraces, allowing you to enjoy your meals in complete seclusion.

The property also features a large lawn, perfect for a fun game of Kubb or other outdoor activities.

Prepare a delicious meal on the grill and enjoy a delightful summer evening on the terrace while listening to the soothing sound of the sea in the background. After dinner, take a short walk to the beach to experience a breathtaking sunset or head to Hirtshals Lighthouse for a stunning panoramic view.

Hirtshals offers a wealth of experiences for the whole family. Here, you will find excellent shops, cozy cafés, and charming restaurants. Enjoy fresh seafood at the harbor while soaking in the unique maritime atmosphere.

Be sure to visit the North Sea Oceanarium or Hirtshals Fun Park for unforgettable family adventures. In and around Hirtshals, you can explore the four hiking routes known as the "Clover Trails," which guide you through the town, the harbor, and the surrounding scenic nature. Along these routes, several viewpoints have been established where you can take a break and marvel at the stunning vistas.
