The holiday home

This small holiday home is located with a beautiful view of Kerteminde Fjord in the small holiday area Strandlysthuse, 7 km from Kerteminde. The holiday home is furnished with living room with a large sofa, where 1 person can stay overnight, dining table from which you can sit and enjoy the view of the water, open kitchen and bedroom with double bed and direct access to the bathroom with shower (to get to the bath, you have to go through the bedroom). From the living room there is access to a large south-facing wooden terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises over the fjord. No englich programs, but you can streame via Chromecast. The holiday home is not very modern, but very charming and cozy. Please note that in parts of the house the ceiling is low. In the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, the ceiling height is 185 cm. In the shower, the ceiling height is 175 cm. In the dining and living room there is a sloping ceiling with exposed beams and skylight, which provides a beautiful light in the house. A perfect holiday home for the small family.

The area

The small holiday home area, Strandlysthuse, is located in Munkebo along Kerteminde Fjord. You can swim in the fjord, and there are great opportunities for paddleboarding and canoeing since the water is almost always calm. In Munkebo, you can shop at the square, enjoy good food at Munkebo Kro, and use the swimming pool. From Munkebo, it's only 15 km to Odense and 7 km to the lovely town of Kerteminde with beautiful beaches, a charming harbor, and a shopping street with plenty of specialty shops and restaurants. Take the whole family to Fjord & Bælt, a research center with porpoises, seals, and an underwater tunnel. Visit the Johannes Larsen Museum and play a round of mini golf with arguably the best view in Kerteminde. Just outside Kerteminde, you'll find the Ladby Viking Museum, where you can participate in exciting Viking activities during the summer
