The holiday apartment

Ground floor apartment of 53 m², perfectly located by the South Beach and just a short walk from Kerteminde's charming town center. The apartment features a living room with a sofa bed and TV, as well as an open, fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the bathroom is modernly designed. Please note that there is no access to traditional TV channels, but it is possible to stream from iPad or phone via Chromecast. From the living room, there is direct access to a private terrace with a stunning panoramic view of the water. The ideal location makes it easy to take a stroll along the promenade to the fishing harbor and further into the cozy town center. The apartment borders Lundsgaard Forest and Klinten, a popular area for divers and anglers. A perfect base for a relaxing coastal holiday with scenic surroundings and the city's life within easy reach.

The area

Kerteminde is one of the small gems of Funen. The town isn't very large but has everything you need for a lovely vacation. To the north and south of the town, you'll find Kerteminde's two fantastic beaches. The north beach is the most child-friendly and very popular among tourists and locals. During the summer, lifeguards keep a watchful eye on the bathers from the distinctive red and white lifeguard tower. After a wonderful beach trip, it's only a few minutes' walk to the charming town center. Here, you have great opportunities to browse in exciting specialty shops and enjoy a lunch at one of the many restaurants and cafes. At the new Renaissance harbor, you can savor an ice cream or a cup of coffee while watching the small boats passing by. At Fjord&Bælt, you can bring the whole family and get up close to porpoises and seals. At the Johannes Larsen Museum, the famous painter's home is on display, along with a large, modern exhibition building featuring changing art exhibitions. Don't forget to visit the Coffee House, which arguably offers the town's most beautiful view. A little outside Kerteminde, you'll find the Ladby Viking Museum. During the summer, there are plenty of exciting Viking events that kids will love.
