Cozy apartment on the first floor of a beautiful old house from 1864, which has been continuously renovated. Here, you can enjoy a holiday in idyllic surroundings close to the town, swimming pool, and golf course.

The apartment is decorated in a personal and cozy style with good use of the space, in keeping with the beautiful old property and the garden with ancient, gnarled trees. A small, functional kitchen in an open space with a dining table and a sofa corner with a television invites relaxation and togetherness. The room also features a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings or cooler days. The bathroom includes a bathtub for extra relaxation during your holiday. There are two bedrooms, both with double beds, and there is an option for an additional person on the sofa bed in the living room.

Guests have access to the large, beautiful old garden with sun loungers and a cozy courtyard where relaxation is paramount. There are also swings for the children to use. In this garden, you can fully enjoy the sun and use the garden grill when preparing meals. Additionally, there is direct access from the property to Sæby River with free fishing (guest passes are available from the owner). A staircase from the property leads to the path along the river to the beech forest Sæbygaard.

The apartment is located just 400 meters from Sæby Swimming Pool and Wellness, which offers both a swimming pool with diving boards, a slide, and a wellness area with hot tubs and various saunas. The golf course is only 2 kilometers away.

The rental price includes electricity, water, and internet.

Any heating costs are settled directly with the homeowner.

Sæby is a charming old market town with an inviting maritime atmosphere around the marina, where cafes and shops are enticing. The town also boasts a charming city life with pedestrian streets featuring a wide selection of retail shops and dining options. For nature experiences, the holiday apartment is close to Sæbygaard forest and within walking distance of the beach. Here at the beach, there is a promenade along the water where you can enjoy the weather and the view of the Kattegat.

GOOD TO KNOW:
No rentals to youth groups. The renter must be at least 25 years old and present for the entire rental period.
On request, there is the possibility of a free arrival day before week 26 and after week 34.
Utilities are included in the rent.
Good parking facilities with a carport - it is not possible to charge an electric car.

THE AREA:
Sæby is worth several visits. It is a very charming market town with good shopping opportunities and attractions. The harbor has many pleasure boats in the summer, where you can buy ice cream and fresh fish. The maritime atmosphere with sailboats, cafes, and shops is bustling with life.

Sæby is a market town that will be 500 years old in 2024. In the old town, you will find the monastery church St. Mariæ. In that area, there is also Sæby Miniby, with houses from the year 1900, the Coastal Museum, Sæby watermill, and several interesting artisans in the old town around Algade. On the outskirts of the town, there is an attractive 18-hole golf course and Sæbygaard Castle, which is also worth a visit.

The Coastal Museum has branches in Sæby, Frederikshavn, and Skagen, telling the story of life along the coast past and present. In Sæby, Sæby Miniby and Sæbygaard also contribute to local history.

About 10 km north lies Frederikshavn, where you should visit Palmestranden in the summer months, and the Bangsbo area is also an experience with a viewpoint, Botanical Garden, and Deer Park. If you continue further north, there is also much to experience in Skagen, where Grenen and the Skagen Museums are must-visits. If there are teddy bear fans in the family, the cozy little Teddy Bear Museum will score many points. The Gray Lighthouse, the Sand-Covered Church, and Råbjerg Mile are also experiences that create holiday memories.

An hour's drive from Sæby lies Skagen, where you can experience the environment of the Skagen painters up close, see Grenen, and witness the meeting of the two seas. On the west coast of North Jutland, the North Sea Oceanarium, Northern Europe's largest aquarium, can be a great outing for families. Southward is Aalborg (Denmark's third-largest city) if the possibilities of city life attract you.
