Description
Welcome to one of Sæby’s oldest houses, a charming home from 1664, located in the heart of the town.
Here, you can experience Sæby’s cozy town life, with shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, as well as a short distance to the harbor and the child-friendly sandy beach.
The house accommodates 8 people, distributed across 4 bedrooms, providing plenty of space for the whole family or a group of friends.
On the ground floor, there is a bright and welcoming dining area with a view of the garden. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. The living room is a cozy gathering spot where you can spend time together—whether it’s playing board games, having a chat, or reading a good book.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed, as well as one of the house’s two bathrooms, both equipped with a shower.
On the first floor, there are three additional bedrooms—two with double beds and one smaller room with two single beds. There is also a bathroom on this floor.
Outside, you will find a courtyard with a terrace, a lawn area, and flower beds. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine or fire up the grill for a cozy evening under the open sky. Additionally, there is a carport where your car can be safely parked.
The house is ideal for families seeking a quiet base close to the town's life and the nearby sandy beach.
GOOD TO KNOW:
No rentals to youth groups. The tenant must be at least 25 years old and be present for the entire rental period.
There are 2 bicycles available.
Distance to the coast: 150 m.
Free parking – It is not possible to charge an electric car. We refer you to charging stations found throughout Sæby.

THE AREA:
The house is centrally located in the town of Sæby, which is well worth a visit. It is a very charming market town with great shopping opportunities and attractions. The harbor is filled with boats during the summer, where you can buy ice cream and fresh fish, and the maritime atmosphere with sailboats, cafés, and shops is full of life.
Sæby is a market town that will celebrate its 500th anniversary in 2024. In the old town, you will find the St. Mariæ monastery church. Nearby is Sæby Miniby, a model of the town as it looked in 1900, the Coastal Museum, Sæby Watermill, and several interesting artisans located in the old town around Algade. On the outskirts of town, there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course and Sæbygaard Castle, which is also worth a visit.
The Coastal Museum has branches in Sæby, Frederikshavn, and Skagen and tells the story of life along the coast, past and present. In Sæby, Sæby Miniby and Sæbygaard also contribute to the local history.
About 10 km north lies Frederikshavn, where you should visit Palmestranden (Palm Beach) during the summer months. The Bangsbo area is also an experience with its viewpoints, Botanical Garden, and Deer Park. Further north, there is much to explore in Skagen, where Grenen (the northernmost point of Denmark) and the Skagen museums are must-sees. For teddy bear fans in the family, the cozy little Teddy Bear Museum will score high points. The Grey Lighthouse, the Sand-Covered Church, and Råbjerg Mile are also experiences that will create lasting holiday memories.
An hour's drive from Sæby lies Skagen, where you can experience the environment of the Skagen painters up close and see where the two seas meet at Grenen. On the west coast of North Jutland, the North Sea Oceanarium, the largest aquarium in Northern Europe, is a great excursion for families with children. To the south lies Aalborg (Denmark’s 3rd largest city), if the attractions of city life appeal to you.
