Barneville-Carteret is a popular seaside resort. You can choose from three beautiful beaches bearing the Blue Flag for water quality. Barneville beach is particularly popular with families with young children. It is marked by buoys and has a beach club for the little ones. The beach at Carteret, facing south and protected by rocks, is also very pleasant. Thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream, the water here is slightly warmer.
