Description

This holiday home is located in a quaint town with 30 houses on a small pond, where bird lovers can enjoy watching different species of birds. The house sits on a quiet road only used by residents. It is 900 meters to a bicycle and walking path and 10 km to Erdeven sandy beach. The patio is great for enjoying a drink while listening to the ocean's waves and barbecuing. The large garden is solely for your private enjoyment. Nearly all rooms offer views over the 4 hectare natural reserve, a haven for bird watching (binoculars are available). The granite walls are typical and practical as they keep the house comfortable cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Parking for up to three cars is available. A garage can keep your surf boards, bicycles and other equipment safe, as it can be locked. Upon request, airport transfer is possible. The airport in Nantes also offers car rental services. The two storey house offers a living/dining room on the ground floor, from where you can enjoy southwesterly views over the beautiful scenery. There is also the open plan kitchen, a wheelchair accessible bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a bedroom with a 140 x 200 cm double bed on the ground floor. Two steps lead down into the living room; a wheelchair ramp can be installed upon request. The dining table for eight is perfect for communal meals. The open plan kitchen next to the dining table is fully loaded with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen offers a fridge/freezer combo, an induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster and a dishwasher. The utility room houses an additional large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, shelving and a washing machine. The entire lower level is equipped with underfloor heating. The sofa is furnished with two comfortable three seater sofas and a fireplace. The three double bedrooms are located on the top floor. The first two bedrooms are furnished with two 80 x 200 cm single beds, which can be combined to a double. The third bedroom is furnished with two 90 x 200 cm single beds and a bunk ked (2 x 90 x 190 cm). On the same floor, there is a separate toilet and a bathroom with a shower tub. The upstairs is heated with radiators, installed in every room. The house also has a satellite flat screen television, a DVD player and a child packet free of charge. The child packet includes a cot, a high chair, a baby tub and a buggy. The Menhire and Dolmen can be explored by bike. It is 400-500 meters to a bicycle rental, a pizzeria and a bistro/cafe with wi-fi access. During the high season, a small grocery store offers croissants and baguettes. Other shops are located in Erdeven (4 km). There are also two supermarkets, restaurants, an ATM, a gas station, a butcher and a bakery in town. Most shops open Sundays as well. The owner offers up to four additional adult bikes for rent. Please note, that these bicycles are rather simple models. If you are looking to holiday with friends or family, there is another house across from this property. The cost accrued from energy use are charged per use. Up to 70 kWh are included in the rental price. The house is fully equipped for wheelchairs. An easy-to-drive, non-slip concrete walkway and a terrace were installed around the house. On the ground floor there is a bedroom, which is accessible barrier-free; the bed can be adjusted in height. The bedroom has access to the ground floor bathroom/WC which is also wheelchair accessible and equipped with a wheelchair-washbasin, a threshold-free shower with a folding seat, and a toilet with handles. The doors all have large opening dimensions and a ramp can be installed to access the living-dining room. In the meantime, several wheelchair users with different wheelchair sizes (including electric wheelchair) stayed in the house, all of them very satisfied.
