Located in a tranquil location in Laroque, this holiday home is particularly appreciated by lovers of nature, calmness, and fond of gardens. This lower house at the foot of the Cevennes has been decorated with care and exudes warmth and immediate well-being. Ideal for a couple on a romantic vacation, the holiday home has a private swimming pool where you can enjoy refreshing dips. Laroque is a fortified medieval village built on a rocky outcrop at the end of the Hérault Gorges. It is a strategic site, opening the gateway from the Languedoc plain to the Cévennes, and from the top of its keep-tower (27 m), it offers a complete circular view of the entire hinterland. The village also has a variety of shops and restaurants, a medical centre, pharmacies and even a clinic. The medieval village is a 5-minute drive away, situated on the banks of the River Hérault, where you will also find numerous restaurants overlooking the river and supplies, shops, supermarkets, as well as a typical Cévennes market on Friday mornings. You can also take a canoe trip down the Hérault. Additionally, this place is perfect for exploring the surrounding area on foot. In warm weather you will find your place on the covered terrace with barbecue and plancha, best for an evening date with your better half. Unless you prefer relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the extraordinary garden with its lush vegetation of varied species, its pond and the breathtaking view. You will stay on the ground floor and the owners live on the first floor, the owners will inform the tenants of the common areas and the respective private areas.
