Villa La belle Vie à Messanges – a marvelous location, where the forest meets the ocean – The house is in the calm of a residential area situated on a quiet dead-end street. Our neighborhood is the residential area in Messanges that is closest to the beach. Separate bike paths take you to the beach and downtown (a 7-minute bike ride).La Belle Vie is a pleasant villa (up to 7 persons) with a large garden in front of a pine forest. The house is in the calm of a residential area situated on a quiet dead-end street. Our bright and comfortable villa is built in the Basque tradition and the neighbourhood is the residential area in Messanges that is closest to the beach. Directly behind the garden, you find numerous tracks through the pine forest and along the lake 'Etang de Moisan' that are perfect for walkers and runners. Separate bike paths through the forests and along the coast provide the opportunity for touring to Hossegor in the south or to Leon in the north. Situated in the south of the region of Les Landes (Aquitaine), Messanges offers numerous opportunities for an active as well as relaxing vacation. The small village is located 4 km north of Vieux-Boucau and a 5-minutes bike ride from the beach of Messanges-Plage. The hospitable village is situated in a stunning forest environment stretching over 3400 hectares and has a wonderful, wide, and 5 km long beach. The waves attract many surfers and surf schools to Messanges. However, the guarded parts of the beach allow for safe swimming.

Shops for daily needs, bakery, bicycle rent, surf shops and ding repair, post office, hairdresser, beauty salon, medical doctor and physiology, two hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. round up the hospitalities available in Messanges. Bigger supermarkets are available outside of Messanges (4 km) or in Soustons (approximately 18 km). More numerous sports and entertainment venues can be found in Vieux-Boucau (4.5 km), e.g. mini-golf, along with concerts and various other events. A beautiful 18-hole golf course is located in Moliets (5 km).
