Description
Alsatian half-timbered house in a natural and biodiversity setting Our house is a half-timbered house completely renovated, surrounded by a garden labeled "for biodiversity", a vegetable garden and beautiful natural areas, located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Vosges du Nord. Ideal for family stay (outdoor and indoor games, farm animals -hens, ducks, ..., bicycles available)
The gite has 2 floors: the ground floor with an area of about 65 sqm is composed of the following rooms: a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and dining area open to the living room including a living room with multimedia equipment (flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo system) and library provided; a complementary relaxation area in an alcove includes a double sofa bed. Next to the kitchen, a bathroom with corner tub, sink, WC and washing machine . On the 1st floor were arranged two bedrooms; in the 1st there is a double bed 160*200 cm and a baby bed in wood, in the 2nd: 3 single beds 90*200 cm; on the landing is a relaxation area and a 2nd shower room including shower, washbasin and WC. Under the roof has been arranged a 3rd bedroom comprising in all 4 single beds 90*200 cm, a changing area and children’s games. 3 baby beds are available as well as all childcare equipment for the smallest.
Private terrace with garden furniture, pull-down awning, barbecue The adjoining lawn allows to install sun chairs and ottomans. A playground (portico with double swing, slide, zip line, etc.) is available for children under adult supervision. Backyard animals (hens, roosters, ducks, ...) will delight both young and old. Outdoor games and bicycles are available on request. The field is fenced and thus perfectly adapted to children.
Bicycles and board games are available free of charge. A library rich in Alsatics and novels will allow you to spend good times. The rental has everything necessary for the care of young children (childcare equipment: cot, bathtub, high chair, toys...). It is possible to rent a vehicle for a low price
The village centre, where there are restaurants and nearby shops (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy..) is about 500 m away; 100 m from the gite passes a cycle path connecting the neighbouring villages; the commune is well equipped with hiking trails marked by the Club Vosgien. Being located in the Natural Park of the Vosges du Nord, the outings museums, castles, animations...are not lacking throughout the year and we will be happy to share good plans and favourites.
