House:
An ideal alternative to the hotel room! Modern and comfortably renovated cottage situated above the bay of Plougasnou. From the small terrace on the first floor you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea. In a few minutes you can walk to one of the eight beautiful beaches of the popular bathing resort. The largest beach, Grande Plage de Primel, allows for a wide range of water sports. On a weekend in mid-August, the beach turns into a giant dance floor. Celebrations continue throughout the day and into the late evening. And there is always something else going on here on the beach in summer: building beach castles, beach games for young and old, small sports tournaments. Sights of the small community are the Pointe de Primel, the port of Diben, the beaches of Trégastel, Port Blanc, Guerzit, St. Samson and Térénez, all of which can be reached directly via the old customs officer's path, the hiking trail GR34, as well as the church from the 15th century. The popular market takes place every Tuesday morning on the church square. In the summer months you can take a tour of the Bay of Morlaix from the small port of Le Diben. The designated hiking trail GR 34, which leads around the bay, is particularly popular with nature lovers and hikers. From many vantage points you can admire the Taureau fortress (Chateau de Taureau), the islands of Callot and Louet and several bird sanctuaries. A sight is very close to the megalithic complex of Barnenez. We also recommend a trip to the neighboring town of Morlaix, which is very Breton. Every Sunday morning there is a market in nearby Pléstin-les-Grêves. Here you can buy all sorts of Breton specialities, delicious vegetables, often organic, fresh fish and delicious seafood.
