Description

These freestanding mobile homes are set on beautiful pitches in this four star family campsite. The very spacious pitches are situated alongside a quiet road and offer much privacy under shade providing cork oak trees. The campsite is located in Roquebrune-sur-Argens near Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime, Saint-Raphaël, Cannes and the Verdon gorge. It is a perfect base for excursions on the Côte d'Azur and for visiting the Provence region. The large covered veranda boasts a lounge set, garden furniture, two loungers and an additional fridge. A shrub fence surrounds almost the whole garden area. This is a description of one of the homes to also give you an idea of the several other mobile homes on the campground. The mobile homes each feature around 35 m² of living space comprising: living room with a sofa bed that can sleep two persons, dining area overlooking the veranda, bedroom furnished with a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with, among other things, gas cooker, microwave, coffee machine and fridge complete with freezer compartment. Each home features a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and toilet. On request, a bed and highchair can be provided for small children. There is a parking space available next to each mobile home. SURROUNDINGS ROQUEBRUNE SUR ARGENS If you are looking for a stressfree vacation; luxury and entertainment; the scent of lavender and deep canyons: it is all a stone’s throw away. The Côte d’Azur is well known for its gorgeous beaches; jetset on the trendy boulevards of Saint-Tropez and Cannes. This French Riviera almost permanently has beautiful weather conditions. If you don’t seek the mundane life you can always enjoy historical sites. In the medieval Roquebrune-sur-Argens, just a few kilometers away, you will make a time leap of a thousand years. Visiting Nice, Frejus, Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Raphaël is also worthwhile. Do you like rugged nature and going caveman? The Gorges du Verdon or Grand Canyon du Verdon in the South of France is a river canyon that is often considered to be one of Europe’s most beautiful. It is about 25 kilometers long and up to 700 metres deep. Hiking, canoeing, paragliding, rafting, climbing and canyoning are some of the numerous sports practised in the region. The canyon is situated in the regional park of Verdon. The Cote d’Azur’s beautiful sandy beaches are about a ten minute drive away. On this site, you won’t even notice when it’s the peak holiday season, quite different to the places right on the coast. You find several large shops and a restaurant some two kilometres away from the campsite. The site is set against the spectacular backdrop of forests, lakes, mountains and, of course, the Verdon gorge, also known as the “Grand Canyon du Verdun“.
