The cottage is ideally located in Vattetot-sur-mer, 6 km from Etretat and Yport in Normandy. Vaucottes is a unique place on the Normandy coast. Vaucottes, listed as a historical monument for its beautiful seaside villas, is located in a small valley in the middle of a forest. A path leads down to a small, completely unspoiled beach lost between high white chalk cliffs. In the Belle Epoque, the following was written about Vaucottes: “Nowhere else on the Norman coast do the trees venture so close to the sea. Peace, rest, look for nothing else there, you would think you were at the end of the world...'. This is still true today.
