What you should definitely visit are the 9 locks (Les Neuf Ecluses) in the Canal du Midi near Béziers. The large cities of Narbonne with its historic centre and Carcasonne are fairly close by. Barcelona is about a 2-hour drive from the campsite, ideal for an interesting day trip. On Wednesday and Saturday mornings there is a large market in the centre of Vias, all the sunny terraces are full of locals and tourists for a cup of coffee or a drink. The campsite: A fantastic 4-star campsite right on the Mediterranean Sea with lots of entertainment for young people, lovely swimming pools, water slides and a luxury paddling pool, various playgrounds, disco/entertainment every evening.
