The area around Bad Sachsa is ideal for extensive hiking, biking and mountain bike tours. For those seeking peace, a day in the sauna area, complete with its own ice fountain, is recommended, while children can enjoy the water slide and wave pool in the bathing paradise. Furthermore the park offers year-round boules and bowling alleys and a fun and entertainment programme. Meals are provided by the restaurant and park shop. Landal Salztal Paradies holiday park is located near the Braunlage/Wurmberg ski area. The ski area also offers nearly 150 km of cross-country trails and a fun park, as well as snowboarding and tobogganing. From October to April, an ice skating rink invites guests to skate right next to the park.
