Visit Roseburg Castle, the castle grounds or one of the many museums. Explore the magnificent nature of the Harz on a cycling tour or hike on one of the well-developed and marked hiking trails. The idyllic Bodetal (Bode Gorge), the cities of Quedlinburg and Wernigerode or the Hexentanzplatz (Witches' Dancing Place) in Thale can be reached quickly. Other excursion destinations include: Narrow-gauge railway to the Brocken, Rübeländer stalactite caves, Zoo Aschersleben.
