Description

The town of Bergen, a popular holiday destination at the edge of the Alps, is easily reached by the Autobahn or train. The detached holiday home is situated in a quiet location next to a stream and with views of a forest and the mountains. It was fully renovated in 2013 and most furnishings were replaced, making it a comfortable holiday property, which is awash with light.Renovated holiday house with a large garden and modern furnishings: surrounded by gorgeous natural settings near Lake Chiemsee and Salzburg The 76 m² house boasts a spacious bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), a safe and access to the large sun terrace. The handicap accessible bathroom offers a shower, a hair dryer, a sink and a toilet. The modern kitchen offers a stove, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a coffee maker. The living room with hunter style decorations, is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed (0.85 x 1.95 m), a 32" flat screen television with satellite reception and a DVD player. The fourth person will be sleeping on an armchair, which can be easily and quickly converted to a bed for the night (0.80 x 1.95 m). The house boasts a spacious sun terrace, furnished with high end outdoor furniture and sun loungers. A barbecue is available upon request. The property is fully fenced in and has a beautiful garden. Upon request, a small, short haired dog is permissible. A garage and an additional car parking space are available for your use on the property. The property is non-smoking. All areas are handicap accessible. The house is in an ideal location for hiking and bicycle tours in the adjacent natural reserve. It is only 100 meters to the public pool, a tennis court and a circular forest path. The cable car takes you up to the Hochfelln where you can enjoy gorgeous views over the Chiemgau and Lake Chiemsee. Are you the adventurous type? Then why not paraglide back down! The Hochfellncard offers many discounts from May through October. Free internet access is available in town (hotspot). There are many places, appealing to all age groups, to visit in the vicinity. Lake Chiemsee has many beautiful sandy beaches. Other lakes also offer public bathing beaches. The climatic spa town Bergen and the surrounding areas are ideal for mountaineering. Take a hike to a waterfall or take a yodelling class - the choice is yours. Visit a concert, a local play or play a round of miniature golf. Keep an eye out for local events, which are definitely worth a visit. The area numerous activities year round: museums, Schloss Herrenchiemsee, the mountains - to just name a few. In the vicinity, you will also find beautiful beaches and spas. We highly recommend a spa day in Waging or a trip from Bergen to Salzburg or Munich by train. The Oktoberfest in Munich is also easily accessible by public transport. During Christmas time, visit the beautiful Christmas markets in Bergen and Salzburg. Of course, winter sports are very popular here: skiing on the Hochfelln, sledging and cross country skiing. The property is easily reached via the A8 (Munich-Salzburg).
