Description

This is a generous holiday apartment with a balcony on the upper floor of a residential house, located in a quiet residential district on the outskirts of Blankenburg. You can benefit from a quiet location, without through traffic, at the foot of the bird sanctuary between Blankenburg and Wernigerode. You can enjoy a view over the town and the area around the Harz from the balcony. The balcony provides a table with four chairs for dining outdoors, with shade provided by an awning if required. It is very spacious and has two loungers for sun bathing. The comfortably furnished holiday apartment provides 125m² of living space and is on the first floor. Owing to the sloping ceilings, the apartment has a cosy atmosphere and appears larger. The interior comprises three bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with an integrated, open kitchen-diner and access to the balcony. All three bedrooms are furnished with double beds. The first and second bedrooms each have a double bed measuring 180 x 200cm, while the third has two double beds next to each other (190 x 200cm), as well as a TV and a generous wardrobe. The centrepiece of the apartment is the sociable living room with a comfortable lounge area with a corner sofa, a generous kitchen space with a kitchen island and a comfortable dining space. The kitchen is fully-equipped for convenient self-catering, including a dishwasher, a stove and oven, a fridge and freezer, and the usual small electrical appliances. There is a solid dining table with six rotating chairs for enjoying meals. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, a corner bath, a WC and a washbasin with a wall cupboard and mirror. The town centre with shopping faciliites, cafés and restaurants awaits your visit 2km away. There are a tennis court 1km away and an outdoor pool 1.5km away. You can go on hikes through the nature reserve practically from the doorstep. It is about 10km to the ski resort.
