Description

The holiday house is at the heart of the Sauerland – a region that is perfect for hiking, biking, activities in nature and relaxing. It is an experience in all seasons. There are little villages in the area with beautiful timber-frame houses, cosy restaurants and friendly people. The Bruchhauser Steine are the local attraction and a worthwhile trip destination. There is an additional storage room for bicycles, skis etc, as well as garden furniture, a parasol and loungers. There are parking spaces right by the house. Pets are not allowed. The ca. 95m² comfortable holiday apartment is in the attic of the house. The large living and dining room includes a fully-equipped kitchen with a cooking island, all the necessary utensils for self-catering, a dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, kettle etc. The big dining table invites you to sit together sociably. The cosy living room provides a sofa with satellite TV, a DVD7CD player and a radio for a relaxing end to the day. The sofa can also be used as a bed for two people. A fireplace stove invites you to enjoy cosy evenings. The separate light bedroom has a comfortable double bed. The luxurious bathroom with a bath, shower and WC rounds off the accommodation. Bed linen and towels are provided. In October 1998 Bruchhausen was awarded the title of ‘European gold village’ by the ‘European Association for Flowers and Landsape’ in the competition ‘Entente Florale Europe’, honouring the location of the village in a beautiful and unique landscape, as well as the well-presented building substance of the village. Still today, Bruchhausen is a charming village worth seeing. The Bruchhauser Steine with the informative visitor centre, the pristine mountain landscape and the clean and inviting appearance of the village are magnets for visitors and guests. The house is listed and has been completely restored and fitted with modern amenities. It exudes a special flair.
