Everything is possible. The Ederbergland holiday region is located in the middle of Germany, on the edge of the Sauerland, adjacent to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. There are numerous opportunities for excursions into the wider area. Old towns worth seeing, the Eder, the university town of Marburg, the spa town of Bad Wildungen, the beautiful Edersee with Waldeck Castle, etc. Winter sports fans can quickly reach Winterberg or Willingen with its numerous winter sports offerings from the Ederbergland. Willersdorf is a district of Frankenberg (Eder) in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse. The place is in the Ederbergland holiday region, on the edge of the Burgwald. The highest mountain in the Burgwald Knebelsrod (443 m) is only 15 minutes away (on foot). Willersdorf was first mentioned in 1294. The town itself is between 357 and 390 m high and has around 650 inhabitants.
