Description

The family-friendly holiday house is on a little side street in a holiday park, right by the edge of a forest and just a few minutes’ walk from Silbersee. The fully heated accommodation provides around 75m² of living space, comprising a ground floor, a mezzanine and an upper floor. It has a cosy living room with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining space, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with two single beds (90cm wide). A supplementary bed (90 x 200cm) can be provided free of charge. This bedroom also has an ensuite WC with a washbasin and hairdryer. The second bedroom has a double bed (180cm wide), while the third has a queensize bed (140cm wide). The shared bathroom has a shower, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. You can wash laundry at the village for a small fee. Your accommodation not only has a wide selection of children’s toys and board games, but also play equipment outdoors, such as a sandpit, balls and a little vehicle park, consisting of bobby cars, a scooter, little bikes and pedal cars, for use free of charge. The ca. 600m² site, enclosed by a hedge, also provides ample seating, sun loungers and a canopy beach chair. There is also a grill. Instead of the terrace, you can also sit on the furnished balcony with a view of greenery and a glass of wine at the end of the day. There is an outdoor car parking space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the accommodation free of charge. Up to two travel cots (60 x 120cm) can be provided free of charge. An initial stock of firewood for the fireplace is free, then each additional package of firewood is payable. The accommodation has been classified as four star by the DTV. The nearest grocery shop is about 200 metres away. Owing to its location, the accommodation is suitable for an active holiday with jogging and hiking trips, as well as a family holiday with your children. Several playgrounds in the holiday park and an indoor play centre nearby ensure plenty of adventures for young ones. The beautiful Silbersee and recreational activities are just a few minutes’ walk away, such as a wellness paradise, a climbing park and a luge. The idyllically situated property is also ideal for a holiday with your dog. You can go for a stroll in the nearby forest or visit the lake with a designated dog area. In the evening you can simply relax in the house with a cup of tea. Other trip destinations in the area to be recommended are the reformation town Homberg (Efze) with its impressive timber-framed buildings and the St. Marien town church, as well as the Documenta town Kassel. Cultural enthusiasts can visit the mining museum in Borken or the fesitvals at the Bad Hersfeld abbey ruins. A cinema and a bowling alley in Fritzlar invite you to pay a visit in the evening.
