Description
The individually decorated holiday house Toddy of around 103m² is situated in Glowe on the sunny island of Rügen in the quiet part of the locality sheltered from the wind. Glowe is right by the entrance to the Schaabe, the sandy beach about 10km long with its pine forests, of which many people say it is the most beautiful beach on Rügen. Toddy is only about 650 metres from the beach and the harbour and 500 metres from the Jasmunder Bodden. Toddy is arranged so that you can enjoy the south and west sun on the two terraces.
A cosy fireplace stove and the tasteful furnishing of the living space flooded with light, with an open kitchen and dining space on the ground floor, welcome you. The high-quality amenities include a stereo system, an LCD TV, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi Internet access. Books and games for all ages provide entertainment if the weather should be inclement. On the ground floor there is also a shower room with an adjoining sauna and there is a washing machine in the laundry room. The upper floor comprises three bedrooms with a total of six beds for adults and an additional bed for a small child (travel bed, highchair available). One large bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200cm), a little stereo system and a second TV. The second has a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a little stereo system, while the third has two single beds (90 x 200cm). All the bedrooms have insect screens in the windows. The area is rounded off by a generous bathroom with a bath, double washbasin and plenty of storage space. All the rooms on the ground floor and upper floor can be darkened with electric blinds.
Apart from two private parking spaces for your cars on site, next to the house you can also find a garden shed for storing bicycles, sports equipment or fishing clothing. Garden chairs, two loungers, a garden grill allow relaxing hours in the garden. Two so-called baker’s bicycles are available, so you can fetch fresh rolls quickly. The Toddy holiday house has a south and a west-facing terrace. Garden furniture, a parasol and two loungers are available.
The house is non-smoking and therefore suitable for allergy sufferers. So that you and your children feel at home in Glowe, near the beach just an 8-minute walk away you can find great playgrounds for climbing and playing, as well as on the long sandy beach. We look forward to your visit.
The holiday house is characterised by its location between the Baltic Sea beach and the big Jasmunder Bodden. The seaside town Glowe is picturesquely situated by the long, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach of the bay Tromper Wiek. It is an up and coming holiday destination. The beautiful beach promenade with the Kurplatz invites you to go for a stroll. Right by the promenade there is the landmark of Glowe, the “Ostseeperle” built in 1968, where you can find a striking listed glass building with modern gastronomy with a terrace and a wonderful view of the water. Glowe is an ideal starting point for cycle tours. There is bicycle hire right at the Ostseepark, within a two-minute walk of the house. Glowe offers ideal conditions for sports fishing. Fishing permits are available from the harbour master or from petrol stations. In Lohme about 12km away there is a beautiful 18-hole golf course at Ranzow Castle with a view of the Baltic Sea. On the western edge of Glowe there is the start of the 10-kilometre-long “Schaabe”, the biggest spit of land on Rügen. It connects the Wittow peninsula with Jasmund and separates the big Jasmunder Bodden from the sea. The white sandy beach of the Schaabe seems endless and is delimited by dunes and pine forests. It offers great surfing areas and some nudist sections. The 30km² Jasmund National Park about 12km from Glowe is known for its magnificent beech forests and the incomparable beauty of the world-famous chalk cliffs. This is also where the so-called Wissower Klinken and Königsstuhl stand, the landmark of Rügen.
