The house is on a spit of land between the Jasmund and Wittow peninsulas, in a wonderful south-facing location on the edge of a forest, between bodden and the Baltic Sea, just 800 metres from the beach on a quiet little holiday house complex on a site of around 900m². Exclusive thatched holiday house in a lovely south-facing location on the edge of a forest, quietly situated near the beach, with a fireplace, sauna and whirlpool, as well as a big garden and a grill
You can look forward to a thatched holiday home built in 2013. Breathe fresh Baltic Sea air and relax in the generous and tastefully furnished 134m² of living space, providing ample space for eight adults. It is also possible to add a bed for a toddler or others. The ground floor has a very tastefully furnished living room with a big suite, modern furniture and a generous dining space. There is a fireplace stove for cosy evenings, as well as a big LCD TV and a BluRay system with a radio. There is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with an integrated microwave in the oven, a ceramic hob, dishwasher, big fridge-freezer and many accessories, such as a coffee machine for cappucino or espresso, a filter coffee machine, sandwich maker, waffle maker, children’s crockery, toaster, raclette set etc. After a long day on the beach, you can relax totally and enjoy a wellness evening in the sauna or in the double whirlpool with lighting effects, as a highlight. The bathrooms on the ground floor and upper floor provide a modern double washbasin, a walk-in shower with a glass shower screen, a WC and a hairdryer. The ground floor also has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, clothes horse, iron and ironing board. The windows and doors are fitted with electronic blinds and insect screens. Tasteful oak stairs lead to the upper floor with three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms in a rustic country style have a double bed with excellent mattresses and ample cupboard space for your clothing, along with an LCD TV and radio alarm. The third bedroom has a desk and a bed 140cm wide. The upper floor windows also have electronic blinds and insect screens. The converted attic has stairs with a safety gate, with a generous, light and inviting living and sleeping room with two single beds on one side and plenty of cupboard space, and a generous suite on the other side, for relaxing and reading. The attic also has a TV, a small library for children, children’s games etc. and modern darkening curtains. A children’s travel bed, changing mat, two highchairs are available, as well as a hand cart with beach toys. There is also a library for adults.
The pretty and enclosed garden provides ample space to relax and play, or to catch the last rays of sunshine in the canopy beach chair in front of the house. Two wicker loungers, a canopy beach chair and garden furniture for eight people are provided. There is a garden grill, so you can enjoy a barbecue on balmy summer evenings and you can lock bicycles away securely in the garden shed, or park them in the bicycle stand in front of the house. The owners look forward to welcoming you. You can relax away from daytime tourism in wonderful peace and quiet, under the romantic thatched roof, whilst still being close to where it is all happening.
The thatched holiday house is a pet-free and non-smoking house and is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. You can park cars conveniently on the two parking spaces on site.
There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house is also an ideal starting point for bicycle tours, hikes through the forest or along the bodden coast of Rügen. The landscape is diverse. Schaabe is a unique, lovely sandy beach and the fabulous pine forests are among the most beautiful on Rügen. Glowe itself offers leisure activities, a surfing and sailing school, a new waterfront promenade and a charming little harbour. So that you and your children will feel at home on Rügen straight away, the holiday house complex has a playground for climbing and running around. You can hire bicycles a five-minute walk away.
