It can be easily reached from the Hanseatic city of Wismar via a dam (15 km). Timmendorf Beach is located on the western tip of Poel, and the actual town, Timmendorf, is about a kilometer behind it. Timmendorf Beach is the most popular beach on Poel and, with the lighthouse, pilot house and the small harbor as well as many water sports, offers ideal conditions for a beautiful Baltic Sea holiday.
