Description

The holiday house is in the idyllic Issigau, surrounded by gently rolling chains of hills in the Frankenwald, in surroundings with few irritants for allergy sufferers, and the romantic valleys of the Saale and the Selbitz. Issigau is an award-winning residential community with little industry, some trade enterprises and interesting restaurants. The spacious hallway with cloakroom space provides access to the three rooms on the ground floor. The kitchen with a dining corner, the living room, two guest rooms, a bathroom and a big conservatory (25m²) for about 15 people provide plenty of space for sociability. One guest room (18m²) has a double bed, cupboard, washbasin with warm and cold water, and a table and seating. The second guest room (11m²) is a single room with a bed, cupboard, sitting corner and washbasin (warm/cold water). The kitchen provides all the necessary appliances, including an electric stove with an oven, a coffee machine, a big fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a kettle, toaster, cutlery, table linen and crockery for about 12 people. A cot and highchair can be provided. The living room (32m²) has a cosy sitting corner with a TV, video recorder, stereo system and radio, as well a a table with 6 chairs. The spacious living room cupboard has books and games. There are rugs on the parquet flooring, exuding a cosy atmosphere. The living room provides direct access to the conservatory. The big bathroom (16m²) has a shower, WC, bidet and washbasin. The upper floor has five further rooms: two single rooms with a single bed, sitting corner, cupboard and washbasin, and two double bedrooms with a double bed, and a two-bed room, all with a cupboard and washbasin, tables and chairs, and a bathroom with a shower/WC, as well as a separate WC. The house has central heating. The outdoor area of the detached house has been left natural, with a big lawn and flower beds. Garden loungers, a table and chairs, and a big parasol are a popular place to spend time in summer, for relaxing and switching off. Right in front of the entrance there is a comfortable seating group. 6 cars and bicycles can be parked in the two garages (one space each) to the left in front of the house and on the parking space in front. The Frankenwald with its towns and villages has a lot to offer. You can either relax or be active. Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Bad Steben, Berg, Geroldsgrün, Lichtenberg, Naila, Schwarzenbach am Wald, Selbitz, Stadtsteinach are just a few of the interesting places with many sights, museums, wellness facilities and entertainment awaiting your visit. There are seven specially signposted mountain biking cycle tours, joined together as two networks. The circuits and the access points are indicated in colour. The nearest lake is about 4km away, as well as a swimming pool and thermal baths (Bad Steben). There are everyday shops right in the locality about 500 metres away and supermarkets in Naila (ca. 6km) and Hof (16km), as well as restaurants here and in the area.
