Description

This is a comfortable and quietly situated three-star holiday apartment, promising you a relaxing holiday in natural surroundings and close to the forest, with a wonderful panoramic view as far as the Arber. Outside you can find a large, sunny terrace and access to the garden with plenty of garden furniture inviting you to relax, a grill area and a roofed outdoor seating area, where you can sit together in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying the wonderful panoramic view. You can enjoy grill evenings with the hosts, who do their best to ensure a pleasant stay. This large ground-floor apartment of around 100m² is suitable for two to six people. It is ideal for families with children, as well as the elderly. It has a fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering, including a stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There is a cosy living room with satellite TV, a CD/DVD player. There are two three-bed rooms, each with a double bed (200 x 200cm) and a single bed (100 x 200cm), along with a large bathroom with two washbasins, a bath and a shower. The WC is separate. It is therefore optimal holiday accommodation. The beautiful holiday region offers many recreational activities, nearby trip destinations, hiking and cycling paths also for Nordic walking, with plenty of trip destinations in nature. There is quite a flat cycle path 3km away. You can also go fishing at the Schwarzer Regen or Höllensteinsee, or go on exciting canoe trips, visit outdoor and indoor pools nearby. There is also a forest pool in the area for nature lovers. It is always worth going on trips to Bad Kötzting, Cham, Straubing, Bodenmais, Zwiesel, Passau, Regensburg and the Czech Republic. There are good shopping facilities and sights in the surrounding localities, including on the subject of glass manufacturing, schnaps distilleries, a toy museum, a forest museum. Furthermore, you can enjoy various lakes, the Bavarian Forest National Park, a wilderness camp, an open-air museum, a farming museum, a crystals museum, an animal park, forest treetop trails, summer toboggan runs etc. There are winter sports facilities, both downhill and cross-country skiing, in St. Englmar, Markbuchen, Grün, Pröllergebiet. The Geißkopf area offers optimal winter sports conditions, along with Bodenmais, Silberberg and the Arber area, or the Hoher Bogen in the Lamer Winkel. You can go sledging nearby, enjoy curling or skating. There are ice skating rinks in Regen and Deggendorf, or you can go on winter hikes through the snow, or a leisurely torchlight walk, to round off your winter holiday. Or how about a horse-drawn sleigh ride, which can be booked in St. Englmar or Drachselsried. Rustic inns and beer gardens provide hospitality and cosiness, or summer festivals that are a tradition in the Bavarian Forest. Homemade Bavarian cuisine will delight the tastebuds.
