Holiday on a riding farm with a restaurant and a small animal zoo, ideal for families This is a riding farm with eleven holiday apartments, in the midst of the picturesque nature of the Fichtelgebirge, surrounded by mountains and forests. Owing to the lovely stand-alone location right by the edge of the forest, you can benefit from exploring on foot, by bike or on horseback with your own or locally hired horses. The riding farm with a restaurant is to the south of Weißenstadt, easy to get to by car. Apart from trips into nature you can enjoy a wide range of leisure activities, ideal for a family holiday. There are plenty of parking spaces on site. There is also a restaurant on site with a dining hall, an outdoor terrace and a grill, serving good meals in a cosy atmosphere. The apartments can be categorised as three types. The apartments can each welcome up to four guests in two double rooms with a living space of 45m². An apartment provides around 65m² with two double bedrooms for up to five persons. The other apartments , each have one bedroom and another bed in the living room, for up to four people, comprising about 40m². The rather more spacious apartment 60m² for four people also has one bedroom. Then there are two studio apartments, 28 m² and 40 m², with a double bed integrated into the living room. Children are welcome, as well as pets. The nearby lake Weißenstädter See (3.5km) invites you to go fishing, swimming, surfing or on a pedalo. There is also a lovely playground there for children and also an aquapark. The Ochsenkopf is about 10km away with a range of activities, such as a summer toboggan run and a guided climbing forest. Wunsiedel about 10km away will entice you with the Luisenburg, a bird of prey park and a rocky labyrinth. Bayreuth with the Richard Wagener festival is about 40km away and Eger/Cheb is about 40km away. The Fichtelgebirge has plenty to offer in winter too, such as cross-country skiing, skating, sledging, downhill skiing and snow shoe hiking. The horses, ponies, goats, hares and hens await guests of all ages, to be either ridden, stroked or cuddled. There are also guest boxes for your own horses. You can ride your own or the farm’s horses, go hiking and cycling right from the doorstep. The owners can provide further suggestions for an interesting holiday.

The holiday apartment is in the front part of the riding farm, on the first floor over the entrance. On the south-facing balcony you can enjoy the sun from morning to evening, as well as the view towards the edge of the forest, the riding arena and the pasture. The hallway with a rustic cupboard provides access to the two bedrooms, the living and dining room and the shower room with a WC. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed measuring 160 x 200cm, the second has two single beds (90 x 200cm) that can also be joined together. The centrepiece of the apartment is the living and dining room with two sofas for relaxing after a day trip, with a flatscreen TV with satellite channels providing entertainment in the evening. You can sit together for meals at the dining table with four chairs. The well-equipped, separate built-in kitchen includes an electric stove with four rings and an oven, a fridge and a coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
