Situated in the peaceful village of Mavrikiano, just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Elounda, this traditionally built house combine rustic features with luxurious features. In the common open area there is an ample sized pool (SHARING pool with another Home) and a summer outdoor kitchen shared with the occupants of another house. Available common parking space. On arrival on the Main Square and Port of the main village of Elounda and at the far end you will see the Cathedral. Wait for us there and call the hotel keeper VANGELLIS who will collect you and show you the way. The beach is 300 meters away, also the city of Elounda. Distance from Port, Commercial Center and Beaches 10/15 minutes easy walk. Please contact our Customer Service if it contains any gaps. This Home can accommodate persons in two different areas. A8/C included and private swimming pool. In the home sitting and dining area and on the right single bed and on the left another one next to the proper kitchen with all utensils. Opposite complete bathroom with Jacuzzi. All the furniture are copies of originals found in the Historical Museum of Heraklion, Crete, but the lamps and fittings are original. Tiles used are hand made, dated c 1920, taken from old demolished houses and the marble sink was found in a Turkish Hammam. The taps are copies of those of the 1920's. The reddish plaster on the walls is made of ground tiles, the same material that was used in the monasteries of the period 14th - 16th century. There is evidence handed down through the generations that there was a church on this site many years ago. Private swimming pool, small summer kitchen and outstanding valley view! Few stairs up and you cross over the swimming pool and small open air summer kitchen. Available common parking space.
