A traditional stone-built Villa with 4 master bedrooms plus 2 small ones and 4 bathrooms built within a beautiful olive grove and a 1000sq.m. plot with 40sq.m pool. The villa is a comfortable 156 sq.m two-story building made of natural material with more than 150years of history. The villa is located in a traditional small village called “Vergiana” close to Margarites village. This house invites you to enjoy its simplicity and the sense of absolute tranquility. The location of the village is perfect for people who love to stay in a quiet place and spend time with their families or friends! It is a comfortable156 sq.m two-story building made from stone and wood with more than 150 years of history. Then it was renovated in 2013-2015 by it’s owners without any architectural interventions, the villa still preserves its elegant traditional touches. The villa can accommodate 10 people in bedrooms and up to 12 people overall. It has 4 master bedrooms, plus two smaller, 4 bathrooms and each bedroom has access to separate fully equipped kitchen, a large yard with gardens, olive trees and the spacious 40 sqm pool . It is large enough for one, two or three families and provides you everything in order to feel like your home! Ground Floor On ground floor, you will find two independent apartments each of them with an interconnected master bedroom with a double bed, while a hall leads you to one smaller bedroom with one single bed. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and a bathroom. First Floor On first floor, you will find 2 more apartment whose each of them has one bedroom featuring a double bed , a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony. In each kitchenette upstairs you will find two more single beds, where the 11th and 12th guest can sleep on. Outdoors The outdoor area of the villa has about 1000 sqm fenced yards and gardens with flowers and trees where you can enjoy the relaxing natural environment! You can either relax under the trees or in our 40 sqm swimming pool area. The lush garden with the olive trees and other trees and flowers create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere and promise unforgettable days and nights under the Cretan sky. In addition, there is also a barbecue and dining area where you can enjoy your meal in outdoor area. No shared areas! * Please respect the quiet hours from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00 and not make excssive noise during these times. * Please note that the "climate crisis resilience fee" (mandatory government tax) of 10€ per night is applicableand payable in cash upon arrival, directly to the owner of the villa. PLACE OF INTEREST At the northwestern foothills of Mountain Idi, at an altitude of approximately 380 m and close to the villa, there is the ancient city of Eleftherna. Today, ruins from different historic periods of ancient Eleftherna are rescued. Eleftherna is supposed to be the 'next big thing' on Crete's archaeological map. A brand new museum is expected to be open along with the archaeological site itself. Last but not least, for those who want to get the most of it: Cycling or walking excursions by following the E4 path Arkadi – Eleftherna – Margarites. Each destination has its own beauty. Total path length: 12km, duration 4.5 hours, suggested period: all year round, difficulty level: the gradients are not steep, yet the route is quite tiring. Panormo is the closest beach -app. 13 km-, where you can find amazing tavernas with fresh fish, coffee shops, market, souvenir shops and amazing sandy beach with all sorts of summer sea sports and unique sea caves that you can explore. The villa is located in a very quiet small village, ideal to relax! There are no bus routes running from the place and therefore a car is advisable in order to explore many places. I can help you in renting one (from the airport) with 5% discount. We can help you make any kind of arrangements prior or during your stay such as car hire, boat trips, excursions etc! We can arrange for you everything you may need such as car hire and pick up from the airport, organize for you special events and we can also arrange for you extra services with our professional cooperatives : we arrange anything you may need during your stay at your villa to ensure that you will have unforgettable holidays like : -massage and aromatotherapy from professionals to relax at your place , -chef to prepare your meals so that you relax more, -diving course to discover the beautiful Cretan sea, -unforgettable safari to explore picturesque villages along with the Cretan hospitality and the relaxing nature, -excursions to visit Spinaloga, Samaria Gorge, -yacht hire to party / swim / fish in the crystal clear Cretan sea, -one day cruise to visit Santorini! All guests are expected to check in after 16.00 and check out by 11.00. We are happy to arrange an early check in or a late check out if we know in advance and if next/previous guests' schedule allows us to arrange that. Guests are responsible to ensure that the property is left in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and in the same condition of repair as upon arrival. The number of guest should not exceed the number referred at the rental agreement. We do not hold any responsibility for the extra people. While all pools are built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization, parents have full responsibility for supervising their children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the pool or hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. Diving is also prohibited.
