The distance from Rethymnon town ( 40.000 inhabitants-the most delightfull town of Crete) is 39 kms. Plakias -tourist resort is 15 kms away from the villas. Lot of interesting places are in the area, like the Frangokastello castle, the monastery of Preveli , the palm beach of Preveli, the Kotsifou and Kourtalioti gorges, Chora Sfakion village, the gorge of Aradena, the mountain of Krioneritis etc. Heraklion airport is 125 kms and Chania airport is 100 kms away.
