Petasos Villa 2 is a newly constructed villa located on the outskirts of Sellia village in Crete, just a short drive from the popular tourist destinations of Souda Bay and Plakias. On the ground floor, you'll discover a double bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a double-bed, along with an en-suite bathroom featuring a large shower and WC. An external staircase leads to the upper floor, where a second bedroom, a spacious shower/WC, and a lovely open-plan living and dining area seamlessly connect to a fully equipped modern kitchen. Plakias is a coastal settlement located in southern Crete, 40 kilometers south of Rethymno. It is home to 237 permanent residents and is situated in a picturesque cove along a magnificent sandy beach that stretches for 1300 meters between the capes of Stavros and Kako Mouri. This beach is perfect for swimming and water sports enthusiasts. Plakias is divided between the municipalities of Selia in the western part and Mirthios in the eastern part, both of which are charming villages not far from Plakias.

The first recorded mention of Plakias was in the 1961 census when it had only six fishermen as permanent inhabitants.
