Sandy Heels Holiday Cottage is a beautiful harbour side property, located in the picturesque village of Roundstone, Connemara. The cottage boasts a truly unique seaside location, and is just a stone’s throw away to the local bars and restaurants.

This perfectly proportioned holiday cottage was once the village shoe-makers house, hence the name “Sandy Heels”.

This seaside holiday cottage in Galway consists of a spacious and pretty living area, offering ample seating, and a wood burning stove. This coastal holiday cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests comfortably:

Property layout – Ground floor:
- Living area with TV and pull-out sofa bed
- Kitchen opening out onto spacious courtyard

Property layout – First floor:
- Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 (overlooking the harbour)
- Bedroom 2: twin sleeping 2 (overlooking the courtyard to the rear of the property)
- Bathroom with bath, large shower, hand basin and WC
- Storage area with washing machine and dryer

This is a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the evening sunshine or for a BBQ with family and friends.

Wifi is available and towels are provided.

Please note that there are internal steps, varying floor levels and open staircase within the property which may not be suitable for young children and toddlers.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €150 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
