Description
The apartment is in an old farmhouse from the 18th century, in the green hills that surround Bomba, and it is the ideal place for a break, to switch off and relax.
The farmhouse has two holiday apartments (see also No. 703563). Both are at ground-floor level and accessed from the street, as the streets are on different levels. This apartment is on the upper floor. You can drive right up to the door by car. In an annex there is a washing machine for shared use by guests of both apartments.
The owner family refurbished the house recently. The apartment provides a double room with an adjoining single room, ideal for a child. In the living room-kitchen there is also a comfortable soga bed. So the apartment is also suitable for a pleasant stay as a group of friends. The apartment is rounded off with a fully-equipped kitchen. The accommodation is particularly cosy owing to the fireplace, for quiet winter evenings.
The location is incredibly quiet, the accommodation is well-equipped and clean, and so an ideal place awaits you for winding down and recharging your batteries. The large garden and the green landscape are perfectly suited to reading, studying or simply relaxing. Discover the Abruzzo region, visit the Lago di Bomba, or hike through one of the region’s national parks. For those who enjoy hiking and trips in nature, the mountain Monte Pallano is just a few kilometres away. There those interested in archaeology can discover megalithic walls and the remains of a pre-Roman town. You can go on relaxing walks or cycle rides with attractive landscapes along the shore of Lago di Bomba. Lago di Bomba is a paradise for fishermen, but it is also possible to enjoy other water sports such as boating and canoeing, or in summer also windsurfing and diving. It is easy to get to the surrounding villages, such as Colledimezzo, Pietraferrazzana and Villa Santa Maria, known for their local cuisine. For riding enthusiasts, there is a riding club next to the farmhouse, which also has courses for young people. Only about 500 metres away there is a tourist holiday park with a variety of sports facilities, such as tennis or a swimming pool. Pescara and Chieti are about 65km away.
The hosts have a long-standing tradition of hospitality and offer you an all-round service with personal care, information about the area and so on. You are welcomed personally and shown the apartment, with all necessary explanations.
