Etna Retreat is an exclusive countryside villa with private pool situated not far from Castiglione di Sicilia, along one of the charming Etna wine routes. Set on a hill, in a commanding position, Etna Retreat enjoys stunning panoramic views towards the Alcantara Valley, the Nebrodi Park and Mount Etna. An oasis of peace and tranquillity with its well kept garden with lawn and amazing salt water infinity pool.
An unpaved road, which winds through the estate grounds, leads to the complex, consisting of the manor house, providing self-catering accommodation, of an old millstone and various agricultural buildings. Great care was taken to preserve the original character of the estate, that has been recently restored.
The well planned interior is furnished in a tasteful mixture of contemporary and old family furniture. The rooms include four comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, a lounge and a further bathroom. The villa is also fitted with internet Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, TV, Hi-Fi system, washing machine, dishwasher, juice extractor and Nespresso coffee machine.
Ideal for relaxing holidays in close contact with nature, Etna Retreat is also the perfect base for exploring the volcano with its vineyards, old lava flows and low lava stone walls. From the villa are just a short drive away the close villages of Castiglione, Randazzo, Linguaglossa and Piedimonte and the popular coastal resorts of Giardini Naxos, Taormina, Aci Trezza, Aci Castello, Catania and Syracuse.
