Modern and bright apartment, a few steps from Piazza Stesicoro, in the center of Catania.

The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a historic building with an elevator and is furnished with fine materials that give the environment a modern and elegant style. The main features of the house are the large French windows from which to admire the view of the city and Mount Etna and the particular decorations on the ceiling. The entrance opens onto the living area, an open space divided into three communicating spaces: the living room furnished with a comfortable sofa and a television, the dining area with a marble table, and the island kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, and kettle. The sleeping area boasts a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a wardrobe, a desk, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. An additional bathroom with a shower completes the layout.

Free wifi, air conditioning, heating, washing machine, and iron will be available in the accommodation.

Catania boasts a beautiful historical center, listed among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna, and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts, will seduce you. Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the Faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are worth a visit. It is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), Olivette of Sant’Agata (typical sweets made of almond paste and colored in green), and the famous brioches with granita. For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off! An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best-known novel, “I Malavoglia”.

Catania Fontanarossa airport is easily reachable with a 25-minute drive, while Catania Central station is 1,3 km away from the accommodation.
