This exclusive holiday residence is a former farmhouse that belongs to the municipality of Centuripe. It is located in Contrada Minnè, a quiet area. The property is on a hill with an exceptional panoramic view, amidst the peaceful countryside of Enna province, with Etna rising high in the background.
The typical Sicilian country house was recently renovated, combining the authentic and rural atmosphere with an elegant and refined interior. The beautiful façade is a reminder of the grandiosity of the aristocratic families that once owned the property. The latest renovation of the villa was carried out very carefully and the house was furnished with high-quality, modern furniture and fittings. This resulted in the exclusive, refined and historic character of the accommodation, which makes it ideal for travellers looking for peace and quiet, without sacrificing comfort. In the interior, the former layout was transformed into comfortable areas and rooms for guests. The spacious kitchen was created in the former stables and was equipped with exclusive, modern units and appliances. The elegant dining room next to the kitchen awaits you with beautifully adorned ceilings and antique furniture. There is also an inviting and light living room with an old fireplace and a cosy reading den. The house can accommodate up to twelve people. It has five double bedrooms with beds measuring 160 x 200cm and two sofa beds in the living areas. They are all tastefully decorated and are fitted with air conditioning/heating. The comfortable holiday house also has four bathrooms with a shower and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room. Free wireless Internet access is available.
To the rear of the house, surrounded by a well-kept garden with typical Mediterranean plants, a charming pool awaits you, decorated with mosaic and with an area paved with lava stone with deckchairs and an outdoor shower. The view is simply amazing and stretches from Etna to the beautiful town of Centuripe on the slopes of a hill and the green valleys and hills all around.
There are two large terraces, where the aristocratic residents once received their guests. Here you can enjoy meals outdoors or simply admire the breathtaking landscape in front of you with a glass of fine wine. There is also a barbecue area.
A roofed parking space is also available. The building is on a farm, which has been cultivating organic products for many years. Please note that the site is not fenced and is in the middle of the countryside, in case you are bringing a dog. Grocery shops, banks and shops can be found in Centuripe about 5km away. The nearest hospital is 18km way in Paterno. The nearest airport is Catania, about 40km away, and can be accessed by car via the SS 121 motorway.
