Inside, the holiday home provides a practical and stylised décor, perfect for budget-friendly breaks. A sunny lake view living space with, SAT TV and Kitchen Diner for 4 lets groups relax and cook informal holiday feasts together too.
The lake view balcony with bistro dining area sets the scene for pleasant daytime meals and ambient evening drinks. Two sun loungers are also on hand for those seeking a tempting moment out in the sun.
The budget-friendly apartment benefits from a spacious Master Double bedroom with lake view balcony and a second guest bedroom for a further 2 guests, which is furnished with a French-style bed for 1 guest and a separate single sofa bed.

Situated along a peaceful secondary road, guests can easily walk on foot down to the village lakeside centre of Colonno, for the local amenities, Greenway del Lago walking route and the public lake lido.
The authentic lake village offers a host of local amenities to complement your stay (including a bank, food shop, café and bus stop), whilst nearby Lenno offers a selection of supermarkets perfect for filling up the Kitchen cupboards. Dining out around here won’t be a problem either; with a plethora of wonderful local eateries and restaurants to be enjoyed in the nearby lakeside villages and resorts of Argegno, Sala Comacina, Lenno, Tremezzo and Menaggio.

Location:
From its peaceful backwater setting, the secondary road leads in no time to the centre of Colonno. The authentic lakeside can also easily be reached on foot, by going down a flight of 20-30 stone steps.
Once along the lakeside road, guests will find a café, grocery shop and bus stop along the main Via Regina. A lovely local lake lido perfect for sunbathing, lake swimming and enjoying lakeside drinks can also be found in this charming lake village.

Colonno offers a strategic base for exploring and enjoying the Central western shore of Lake Como; with the L’Isola Comacina, Sacro Monte di Ossuccio hiking route, Tremezzina Lidos, Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta attractions within 4-14 minutes’ drive away. Colonno is also the starting point for the classic Greenway del Lago route, which passes along many picturesque villages and resorts to Griante. From Cadenabbia (15 minutes’ drive away) the car and passenger ferry service offers carefree passage to the lovely resorts of Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio.

The holiday home is also perfectly placed for reaching the local tennis, golf, cycling routes, water sports, boat rental, sailing, extreme sports and Italian Alp skiing opportunities.

Guests are also within easy reach of the cosmopolitan highlights and transport links of Como (35 minutes’ drive away), Lugano (60 minutes’ drive away) and Milan (77 minutes’ drive away).
The closest airports are Lugano (60 minutes’ drive away), Milan Malpensa (under 60 minutes’ drive away) and Milan Bergamo (1.5 hours’ drive away).
