Spacious and bright apartment with terrace a few steps from the historic center of Como.

The apartment, located on the ground floor of a house in a prestigious residential area a few meters from the city center, boasts a reserved parking space and a beautiful furnished terrace located on the upper floor. The entrance opens onto the living area, a modern-style open plan with sofa, TV, dining table and a fully-equipped open kitchen. The sleeping area features a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a large closet. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.

Guests will benefit from amenities such as iron, wi-fi connection, air conditioning in the living room, and heating.

Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Como is a fascinating, elegant, romantic and well-kept city, surrounded by medieval walls that house the historic center, with cobbled streets and magnificent squares. The lakeside promenade with several 18th century villas and the Tempio Voltiano are some of the main highlights of the territory. Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. Among the most famous are Villa Olmo, a fine example of neoclassical architecture and home to important exhibitions, and "La Rotonda", a 18th century villa and seat of the Provincial Administration. Near the lakeside promenade, travelers can find the main square of the city, dominated by the Broletto (the ancient city-hall built in 1215). The square also boasts the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the most fascinating examples of Italian Gothic art. Finally, it is suggested to go up to visit the village of Brunate, accessible by a funicular, symbol of the city, from where visitors can admire a suggestive panorama surrounded by the art nouveau residences.

The apartment is 600 m from Chiasso train station, while the nearest airports are Malpensa (50 min drive) and Bergamo (1 hour drive).
